An Overview of Al Rashid Industrial Company
The company began its operations in 1969 as a sole proprietorship under the name “Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Rashid Establishment,” importing electrical appliances, household utensils, and jewelry boxes in Riyadh. In 1991, the first plastic manufacturing plant was established in the Second Industrial City, covering an area of 8,900 square meters. Following the passing of the founder, may he rest in peace, in 2005, the company was transformed into a limited liability company under the name “Al Rashid Factory for Containers and Plastics.”
Over the following three decades, the company expanded its plastic manufacturing operations with the support of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund. In 2015, the second factory was opened in the First Industrial City in Qassim, covering an area of 21,000 square meters.
In 2018, the company was transformed into a closed joint-stock company. In 2020, by the grace of God, the company expanded further and opened new factories in Riyadh, covering areas of 10,000 square meters and 5,400 square meters in the Second Industrial City in Riyadh, bringing the total factory area to 45,000 square meters.
The company operates several production lines, including injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, and blow molding. All of these lines serve multiple commercial sectors, including food packaging, household products, date packaging, sweets and pastries, as well as single-use food containers. In addition, the company has a dedicated line for medical products to serve the healthcare sector both locally and globally.
